Finally seems to be working.

I can now open the app. Most of my entered patterns are gone. I do like the upgraded features. I will purchase "Dropbox" storage and hopefully that will protect my data.
I personally cannot recommend anyone else purchase the app until after I take the time to input my pattern information again and upgrade to the current iOS.
