Totally unacceptable!

I wanted to like this so bad that I turned a blind eye to some of red flags in the free version:
1) Despite telling us we can "try out all the features" in the free version, we cant. There is no scanner, for ex.
2) It was strange that a $4.99 app would be upgraded & then SOLD SEPARATELY for $8.99 Why not upgrade the existing customers? I assumed btw, for $8.99 that there had been RADICAL improvements.
3) A few naming details & weird interface issues spelled amateur to me, like there was some customer research missing. I even put that down to rough 1st drafts.

But I bought it anyway, and guess what: It not only takes forever to load online data, it freezes & crashes constantly - about 2x/entry, on average. Some patterns have crashed on me up to SIX times. When restarted it says its reloading/initializing all the programs features. At the moment, (a mere few hours since I got it), its been completely seized after I hit save on a record.

I feel ripped off. Like some arrogant rookie programmer decided he had what it takes to be a designer and charge huge amts of money for rubbish. And to do a few upgrades and double the cost w/o upgrading the people who paid $4.99? Come off it. Thats unacceptable! For $8.99, get it together, folks!!
